Toronto Crime Stoppers

Toronto Crime Stoppers is a community-operated organization that aims to provide the public with the latest information to prevent crimes, assist the police in solving crimes, and locate missing persons. We encourage citizens to report information directly to the investigating police officers and to stand up for what is right by being a witness. We understand the importance of anonymity and offer a service to facilitate the flow of anonymous information to the police. Our organization operates at the local, provincial, national, and international levels and ensures the protection of anonymity based on the case law of the Supreme Court of Canada. We offer multiple ways to submit tips, including phone calls, a free mobile app, text messages, and online anonymous encrypted tips. Our online tip forms allow us to receive tips from anywhere in the world while maintaining the privacy of the tip provider. We prioritize the protection of anonymity and will never attempt to identify the sender of a tip. We provide various channels for submitting information, including our Twitter account, a helpline, a mobile app for iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry devices, and our website. The anonymity of tips submitted to us is protected by the Supreme Court of Canada's case law, and our ultimate goal is to prevent and solve crimes.
