Simcoe Street United Church

Simcoe Street United Church is a religious institution that values essential agreement with the doctrine outlined in the basis of Union for its Ministers. However, the church does not require its members to adhere to any specific doctrine, except for declaring their faith in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. This openness makes the United Church one of the most free-thinking religious bodies in the world. While the church follows a framework of orthodox reform theology, it also encourages its members to explore and experience God in diverse ways. Whether individuals have a deep historic faith or are on a spiritual journey, the United Church provides a respectful community to support them. Simcoe Street United Church aims to be a shining example of Christian faith and care in downtown Oshawa. Although in-person worship services are temporarily closed until October 25, 20, the church invites everyone to join their online services through their YouTube channel.
