Samba Nova is a community band that practices the Brazilian batucada/samba enredo style every Tuesday at St. Matthews church gym from 6:00 - 7:30pm. You can come listen or join in, as instruments are provided and the first session is free. After that, it's just $5 a week. Once you learn some pieces and develop your skills, you'll have the opportunity to perform at gigs and events. Playing samba in a summertime parade is an unforgettable experience. Join Samba Nova and become part of the rhythm of the saints! Contact us at http://www.sambanova.org/.
