Halifax Circus

Halifax Circus is an artist-run professional collective that has been operating for 7 years. Our mission is threefold: to train and perform at the highest levels of circus work, to pass on those skills and experiences through our school, and to work with youth in difficulty through our social circus programs. We started as an outreach program for at-risk youth in 2009 and have since opened a circus school to meet the demand for quality circus instruction in Halifax. In addition to our school and outreach program, we also offer our services as a premiere performance company for various events. Our company consists of our instructors and selected advanced students. Located in downtown Halifax, we offer classes and training in a wide range of circus arts for individuals aged 8 and up.
