YMI Dancing

YMI Dancing is a professional youth dance company that aims to bring dance performances to the general community and provide a professional performing experience to its dancers. Since its establishment in 1992, the company has performed at various venues and events, including Toronto's First Night, Dance Fest in Waterloo, Dusk Dances in Toronto, Guelph Contemporary Dance Festival, and The Bach Consort benefit concerts. YMI Dancing also performs at schools, residences, libraries, fairs, festivals, and fundraising events throughout the year. The company presents a show in April featuring works by renowned Toronto dance creators. YMI Dancing has nurtured the talents of many young dancers and choreographers, with former members pursuing careers in dance and choreography. The company has collaborated with notable creative talents in Toronto, and its teachers contribute their knowledge as performers and teachers to enhance the company's excellence.
