Yellow Bike Action

Yellow Bike Action is a bike share program and volunteer-run not-for-profit bike shop located in Kingston. Since 1999, it has been a colorful and productive part of the community, offering a place for people to learn about bike repair. As a Bicycle Recycling project listed with the City of Kingston, Yellow Bike has successfully diverted thousands of kilos of potential scrap from landfills by assessing and processing donated bicycles and related products. The organization's mission is to encourage the safe use of bicycles as an affordable and sustainable means of transportation, promote environmental protection through bicycle recycling, and strengthen the cycling community by providing access to affordable tools, parts, and education about bicycle repair and maintenance. Yellow Bike Action sells used bikes and parts at affordable rates and welcomes donations of bikes and bike parts.
