Woodbridge Toastmasters

The Woodbridge Toastmasters Club meets once a week for 2 hours and follows a set agenda with various roles that members sign up for online. There is a wide range of speaking levels and everyone has their own customized goals using 'Pathways'. Three awards are given out each week and milestone awards are given throughout the years. The club emphasizes the importance of member participation and teamwork. There is also an executive team comprised of 7 members responsible for different aspects of the club. Joining the club offers lifelong learning and fun. At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. Meetings typically last about an hour and members have opportunities to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation.
