Water Babies - North York

Water Babies - North York is a swim program for children aged birth to 4 years old that focuses on water confidence, safety skills, and swim fundamentals. Founded in 2002 by Paul Thompson and his wife Jess, Water Babies has grown rapidly and now operates in multiple countries. The program offers 17 levels of weekly instruction, with each class building upon previously learned skills. Water Babies classes not only teach swimming skills but also incorporate social, language, intellectual, physical, and emotional development concepts. The program aims to put children ahead of the curve by starting their swimming education earlier than other schools, resulting in students being 1-2 years ahead in their swimming abilities. The classes also provide opportunities for caregiver and child bonding, as well as child-to-child interaction.
