Urbane Cyclist

Urbane Cyclist is a worker co-op bicycle shop located in downtown Toronto, Canada. We specialize in commuting, touring, and recumbent bikes. Our shop carries a variety of brands, including Surly, Salsa, All-City, Tern, Yuba, Bacchetta, ICE, Cattrike, and HP Velotechnik. In addition to bikes, we also offer a wide range of gear and accessories for all weather conditions. Our service department is open during store hours and our knowledgeable staff is always ready to assist with repairs and provide technical advice. As a worker co-op, community involvement and top-quality customer service are core values for us. We have grown since our opening in 1997 and now have eight members in the co-op. We take pride in promoting cycling for all and providing secure employment for our staff and members. Urbane Cyclist is a part of the alternative transportation movement that challenges the dominance of cars and fossil fuel vehicles. We have been voted Toronto's Best Bike Shop and invite everyone to visit our shop for new bikes, repairs, parts, and accessories.
