UBC Extended Learning

UBC Extended Learning, formerly known as UBC Continuing Studies, is a department that collaborates with UBC faculties to provide lifelong learning opportunities to individuals of all ages. We offer a range of part-time courses and programs, including liberal arts lectures, writing courses, language courses, and certificate programs in various fields. Our instructors are experienced in adult education and industry practices, ensuring high-quality instruction. Despite the current closure of our offices due to COVID-19, we continue to offer student services remotely and have transitioned most of our courses and programs to online platforms. As part of one of Canada's top universities, we provide world-class education and access to UBC campus resources for all types of learners, including alumni, current students, professionals, and casual learners.
