The UBC Early Development Research Group, consisting of six research centres in UBC's Department of Psychology, has been dedicated to advancing knowledge of how language, learning, and social understanding develop in infants and children since 2004. Our team includes esteemed researchers, including two Canada Research Chairs and the Head of UBC's Department of Psychology. We are committed to both the theoretical aspects of infant and child development and the practical implications for social policy and education. Our studies are designed to be enjoyable and convenient for parents and children, with a one-time visit to our research centres on UBC campus.
