Thrive Group

Thrive Group, formerly known as Participation House in Hamilton & District, was established in 1975 with the aim of bringing together similar organizations to provide a wider range of services for clients to live independently. While each organization operates independently, they collaborate to ensure the best possible care services. Thrive Group focuses on enabling clients to live fulfilling lives on their own terms through an integrated service delivery model. They provide a healthy living experience that meets the unique needs of individuals, including service, safety, and care requirements. Membership in Thrive Group offers benefits such as enhanced client service, efficient resource utilization, and lower service delivery costs. Additionally, member organizations have access to operational synergies in areas such as human resources, finance, information technology, and administration. The member organizations of Thrive Group include AbleLiving Support Services, St. Peter's Residence at Chedoke, Capability Support Services Inc., and Idlewyld Manor. Each organization has its own focus and services, ranging from independent living support to long-term care facilities. AbleLiving Support Services embraces the independent living model and provides proactive support for adults with disabilities in the community. St. Peter's Residence at Chedoke is a not-for-profit organization operated by Thrive Group, offering services to enable clients to live fulfilling lives independently. Capability Support Services Inc. is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to provide quality attendant services to seniors and individuals with physical disabilities. Idlewyld Manor is an accredited, charitable long-term care facility serving individuals with various disabilities. Overall, Thrive Group aims to empower individuals with disabilities to make their own decisions and maximize their freedom and quality of life.
