The Necromerchant's Payment, Ottawa's Repo! Shadowcast

The Necromerchant's Payment is Ottawa's first and only shadowcast of the movie "Repo! The Genetic Opera." A shadowcast is a live ensemble that recreates a movie on stage while the film is playing behind them. This unique performance combines film and theatre, offering audiences two shows in one. The shadowcast was started by Robin after being inspired by friends who attended Repo Road Tour 3. After meeting a woman who asked if they would do a shadowcast, Robin agreed without fully realizing what he had committed to. Despite some challenges and cast replacements, The Necromerchant's Payment has become the best shadowcast in Ottawa. The show is filled with mischief, mayhem, sex, drugs, rock & roll, and anarchy, providing a fun and entertaining experience for the audience. The shadowcast performs at CLUB SAW, and show dates are announced periodically.
