The Animal Republic

The Animal Republic is a family owned and operated pet grooming studio located in East Scarborough. We offer grooming services for both show dogs and family pets. Our Head Groomer has years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant and is a certified member of the Ontario Groomer's Association. Our team is skilled, dedicated, and compassionate, ensuring a positive and stress-free experience for every dog. Our facility is newly renovated, bright, clean, and well-ventilated. We cater to individual pet needs and have helped many dogs recover from coat and skin conditions. We also offer discounts for multiple dogs from the same home. Our grooming services include bathing, deep coat conditioning, blow drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and hair cutting & styling. We welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds and offer custom haircuts upon request. Our prices are competitive and depend on the size and coat condition of the dog. Grooming is by appointment only, with availability within 48 hours. The Animal Republic was founded in 2011 as a pet supply store and grooming salon in Thornhill, Ontario. In 2014, we transitioned to a full-time grooming studio and opened our second location in Scarborough in 2015 to meet the demand for professional quality pet grooming at an affordable price.
