Students for a Free Tibet Canada

Students for a Free Tibet (SFT) is a chapter-based network that supports the Tibetan people in their fight for freedom and independence. Our programs focus on two main areas: impactful campaigns to make China's occupation of Tibet unsustainable, and training to develop successful leaders and activists for Tibet and their own communities. Our campaigns mobilize thousands of people globally, increasing pressure on the Chinese government to leave Tibet. Additionally, our leadership training has empowered numerous young individuals to become leaders in the fight for Tibet and social justice worldwide. Through education, grassroots organizing, and non-violent direct action, we strive to secure Tibetans' fundamental right to political freedom.
