Strategic Foresight and Innovation

The Strategic Foresight and Innovation program was launched in 2009 to address the increasing importance of new thinking skills in society and organizations. The program focuses on teaching complex problem finding, framing, and solving to envision and develop sustainable futures. Through an interdisciplinary and co-creative approach, students from various backgrounds will develop the skills required for leading innovation. The program emphasizes holistic thinking, exploring, challenging, and finding meaning to guide present and future actions. Small class sizes and access to outstanding faculty and experts provide new learning opportunities, allowing students to lead innovation and generate insight-driven ideas. The program also develops design-thinking skills critical for professionals in the public, private, and voluntary sectors. Students will acquire expertise in foresight, research, and innovation methodologies and develop intelligent, innovative, visionary, and future-enhancing solutions. Upon completion, students will be prepared to tackle real-world issues as future-conscious developers of ideas and solutions. The program enables students to explore and test innovative methods, develop strategic solutions and implementation plans, and navigate complex problems to create new and sustainable futures.
