Spatial Integrity is a company that has developed the concept of collaborative research and mapping for marginalized communities, particularly First Nations. We understand that these communities have been historically marginalized through colonial and economic practices, which have silenced their voices in governance and resource use policies. We believe that promoting collaboration, shared knowledge, and sustainable practices is crucial in reducing conflicts and ensuring cultural survival for these communities.
Our services include cartographical research, data collection, public education, and community development. By engaging in collaborative research and mapping projects, we help communities protect their economic interests and ensure equal representation in future governance decisions. Our mission is to "Make the Invisible, Visible" by fostering new understandings of sustainability, equality, social justice, and community capacity. We aim to assist researchers, NGOs, communities, cultural groups, and government agencies in developing research and policies that benefit all stakeholders involved.
