Small World Music Centre

The Small World Music Centre is a Toronto-based organization that has presented over 600 concerts and workshops in various venues across the Greater Toronto Area. Their motto, "The Beat of the Globe in the Heart of Toronto," reflects their dedication to showcasing artists from all over the world, ranging from emerging musicians to internationally renowned stars. The company's flagship event is the Small World Music Festival, which has been running since 2002 and features Toronto debuts, Canadian artists, and collaborations with other presenters. In 2014, the company opened the Small World Music Centre, a 1,000 square foot performance space that serves as a hub for world music in Toronto. The Centre hosts intimate concerts, workshops, panel discussions, and multimedia productions, and has received positive feedback from both artists and audiences. Additionally, the Centre's Virtual Concert Hall allows the company to reach a wider audience through high-quality audio and video recordings. The Small World Music Centre aims to promote culturally diverse music, foster collaboration, and engage with diverse communities.
