Simba's Grill is an intimate, chef-owned restaurant with two locations in Burnaby and Vancouver. We are open 5 days a week in Burnaby and 6 days a week in Vancouver, offering African-fusion cuisine made with the finest local and international ingredients. Owners Kurshid and Yasmin Khan have been preparing exceptional African fusion cuisine for over 13 years. Kurshid, who immigrated to Canada with a civil engineering background, overcame the challenge of his credentials not being recognized and pursued his passion for cooking. Today, he is a successful and celebrated chef, receiving awards for his cuisine, service, and philanthropic efforts. Simba's Grill takes pride in serving East African food such as bar-be-cue, curries, biryani, saffron rice, and ugali (African corn meal). Our simple storefront provides a welcoming atmosphere for enjoying authentic African cooking. Since 1999, Simba's Grill has been known for its authentic quality taste and is the perfect place for a feast suitable for a lion's appetite.
