SchoolBOX

SchoolBOX is a charitable organization dedicated to making education possible for all children in Nicaragua and around the world. We believe that education can defeat poverty and are committed to empowering children to go to school and stay in school. Currently, 57 million children globally are out of school, and our vision is to see all children finish primary school. In Nicaragua, only 51% of children make it to the 5th grade, and we aim to change that by implementing cost-effective programs such as building schools, providing school supplies, libraries, and teacher training. So far, we have built over 100 classrooms, 81 libraries, and 59 washrooms in Nicaragua, serving over 20,000 students and teachers in 108 communities annually. Additionally, we work with Indigenous communities in Northern Canada, providing books, learning resources, and nutritional meals. Our mission is to empower children to reach their true potential and create a better future for themselves and their communities.
