Royal West

The Royal West is a ten-day tournament that brings Show Jumping back to the heart of Calgary after 30 years. It is a collaboration between Rocky Mountain Show Jumping and the Calgary Stampede. The event will take place at the Agrium Western Events Centre in downtown Calgary's Stampede Park. The facility includes a 2,500 seat competition arena and a 20,000 square foot warm-up ring. The tournament will feature divisions in Hunter, Jumper, and Dressage. Scheduled for the end of October and early November, the event is expected to attract equestrian athletes from around the world. The inaugural Royal West will take place in October 2014.
