Rooftops Canada Foundation

Rooftops Canada Foundation is an international development program that aims to assist disadvantaged communities in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Eastern Europe in meeting their long-term housing needs. The foundation provides technical assistance through experienced practitioners in social and co-op housing development, with missions lasting from several weeks to two years or more. Additionally, Rooftops Canada offers training and capacity building programs, including specialized training, study tours, and workshops for NGOs, government agencies, and other housing practitioners in Canada and partner countries. The foundation works with partner organizations to improve housing conditions, build sustainable communities, and promote equitable global development. Rooftops Canada also facilitates the exchange of ideas and experiences between the Canadian social housing sector and international counterparts.
