Romados

Romados is a popular restaurant in Montreal that specializes in traditional Portuguese cuisine. It was founded in 1994 by the partners whose last names formed the anagram "Romados." Originally focused on bakery products, the restaurant quickly gained popularity for its delicious rotisserie chicken. As demand grew, the family expanded the business and redesigned the restaurant to accommodate more customers and reduce wait times. Romados also became the first restaurant in the region to install an eco-friendly filtration system to reduce smoke and emissions. The restaurant has received numerous accolades for its rotisserie chicken and famous Pasteis de Nata pastries. In addition to serving loyal customers, Romados supplies baked goods to other well-known restaurants in Montreal. In 2013, the children of the founder took over the operations and opened a second location in Saint-Michel. Romados continues to evolve and thrive as a beloved destination for Portuguese cuisine in Montreal.
