Ray's 3rd Generation

Ray's 3rd Generation Bistro Bakery is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the Alton community since 1966. Originally a bakery, the establishment was purchased by Vera and Gavin Ray and has since been passed down through the family. The bakery offers a variety of traditional favorites, such as Chelsea buns, butter tarts, and chocolate chip cookies, all made from family recipes that have been handed down for generations. In addition to the bakery, the establishment also features a casual fine dining restaurant with a rotating menu created by Chef Jason Perkins. The menu includes local favorites and incorporates locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant also offers a selection of Ontario beers and wines. The atmosphere is enhanced by the friendly and dedicated staff, as well as live music performances by local musicians. Ray's 3rd Generation Bistro Bakery is the perfect place for a night out, whether it's a romantic dinner for two, a large party, or a private function. Reservations are recommended. The establishment is open Tuesday to Saturday, with the kitchen closing at 9pm.
