Prophet River Firearms

Prophet River Holdings, founded by Clayton Smiley in 1994, initially focused on establishing websites for outfitters in North America. However, after selling off the company's contents in 1996, Clay decided to import a Cooper Rifle from the United States for personal use. As he continued to import firearms for friends and acquaintances, Clay realized the lack of companies offering this service in Canada. In January 2008, Prophet River Holdings was reborn as a Canadian Firearms Business. Since then, the company has grown into a major retailer of firearms, optics, and accessories, catering to customers across Canada. With a dedicated team and a passion for the outdoors, we pride ourselves on serving a unique market and offering distinctive, high-quality products at competitive prices. Our specialization lies in importing firearms from the United States, taking care of all necessary paperwork to legally bring the firearms into Canada and register them for our customers. We also offer a wide range of brands, rare firearms, and custom orders. Recently, we have moved into a new retail store in downtown Lloydminster, Alberta, allowing us to have more stock on hand and provide better service to our customers. We are excited to meet your needs and welcome you to visit our new location in Lloydminster.
