    Primitive Designs, owned and operated by Ron Dacey and Rhonda Cook, is a popular destination for tourists and locals in Port Hope, Ontario. Located just outside of town, our 8,000 square foot warehouse offers a unique market experience with imported exotic and unique arts and crafts from around the world. We have a wide range of products, including Bamboo bars, Timor Houses, carvings, masks, drums, instruments, patio stones, outdoor décor, pottery, jewelry, and clothing. Our collection is hand-picked and provides insight into different cultures. In addition to our warehouse, we have additional display areas and courtyards to explore. We are also known for our impressive Big Robots, including a 20ft+ metal robot made from recycled motor vehicle parts and two giant T-Rex sculptures. Primitive Designs is the number one tourist attraction in Northumberland County and offers excellent customer service and one-of-a-kind pieces. Please note that due to a potential COVID contact, we have temporarily closed, and we will keep you updated on our reopening.
