PRACOM is a unique day and evening center for mental health operating in the community. The organization offers a program of activities aimed at personal growth, development, and acquiring the necessary skills to better cope with daily life for anyone wanting to make a change in their life.
Our goal is to provide a warm, positive, and healthy environment that allows people who attend PRACOM to regain power over their lives, recognize themselves as individuals, and regain the pride of fulfilling themselves as human beings.
PRACOM (Alternative Community Program) opened its doors in 1983 to meet the urgent need for mental health services in the central-east sector of the city of Montreal.
