Welcome to 1001 Pots!
A summer highlight for ceramic enthusiasts, 1001 Pots invites you to its 28th edition! Nestled in the beautiful Laurentian forest, in the charming village of Val-David, this exhibition showcases the excellence of contemporary Quebec ceramics. Spread out on our magnificent site, the works of the artisans come in all shapes and sizes, grouped by creator or themed sections (garden, kitchen, table, tea, sculptures, jewelry, children's works, decoration, collectible pieces...), allowing you to discover the wonders of local artisans and even have the opportunity to acquire them!
A celebration of ceramics and people, 1001 Pots offers numerous opportunities to delve into the world of ceramics and interact with the creators. They welcome you on the evening of the opening to inaugurate the event. Each day, a different artisan presents their work. Demonstrations, competitions, and contests animate the weekends, showcasing the talents of the artisans and supporting the "Bol en partage" organization. You can also witness the work of our artist in residence in real time. Feeling inspired? Sign up for our week-long adult pottery course! And if your children are curious, enroll them in the pottery workshop while you explore at your leisure.
1001 Pots is renowned for the beauty of its site and the refinement of its green teas. Treat yourself to a moment of grace while savoring tea in the Moss Garden, Zen Garden, or Secret Garden. The intimate alliance between the art of tea and ceramic art is also revealed through the exhibition-competition presented in partnership with Camellia Sinensis tea house. To complete this beautiful bouquet, follow the Path of Flowers and witness the traditional Ikebana exhibition, the quintessence of floral art. The mineral enclosure of the Silica Garden also immerses itself in culture, hosting storytelling, musical, and poetic performances.
