Pitt Meadows Museum General Store

The Pitt Meadows Museum consists of two sites, the General Store and the Hoffmann & Son Machine Shop. The General Store is the oldest known structure in Pitt Meadows, dating back to 1886. It features permanent and temporary exhibits showcasing the settlement history of the community. The building also houses a small community archives and reference library. The Hoffmann & Son Machine Shop displays a collection of tools and over sixty restored stationary engines. The museum is open during winter hours on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, with additional hours available for school and group tours and research visits by appointment. The Pitt Meadows Museum is operated by the Pitt Meadow Heritage & Museum Society, a registered charity dedicated to collecting and preserving artifacts and archival material related to Pitt Meadows and the surrounding area.
