Paprika Festival

The Paprika Festival is a youth-led performing arts festival that celebrates young artists and their original performances. The festival aims to create a supportive community for young artists to connect with their peers and mentors, have fun, and create high-quality artistic work. The festival values accessibility, leadership, culture, and artistic excellence. Over its 15 seasons, the festival has supported the work of nearly 1,000 individuals and launched over 100 professional careers. The festival was established in 2001 and has since grown to include year-round programming and a strong connection to the professional arts community. The festival provides opportunities for young artists to lead their own creative process, have their voices heard, and prepare for employment in the cultural industries.
