Ottawa Arts Council

The Ottawa Arts Council is a non-profit organization that supports artists and arts organizations in Ottawa. Our mandate is to collaborate with partners, engage the community, be inclusive, recognize artistic achievement, maintain high standards of service, and be open and transparent. Our vision is to build a creative city where art is practiced, valued, and supported, and citizens are engaged and enriched by a vibrant arts community. We believe that the arts are essential to a fully lived life, make a significant contribution to society, should be accessible to all, and that locally produced art is the voice of Ottawa. We have been representing the interests of Ottawa for over 30 years.
