NK'MIP Cellars is a lakeside winery located on 1,200 acres of band land in the town of Osoyoos. Situated in Canada's only pocket desert, this region offers stunning views, long hot summer days, cool nights, mild winters, and minimal rainfall, making it an ideal grape-growing area. As North America's first Aboriginal owned and operated winery and the recipient of InterVin's Canadian Winery of the Year 2016, NK'MIP Cellars is a joint venture between the Osoyoos Indian Band and Constellation Brands. It is part of the Nk'Mip Destination Resort, which includes Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa, Sonora Dunes Golf Course, Mica Restaurant, Nk'Mip Desert Cultural Centre, and the Nk'Mip RV Park & Campground. NK'MIP Cellars offers a variety of red and white wines, Aboriginal art, wine accessories, logoed wear, and hosts events. Visitors can enjoy tours, tastings, and lake views at this Indigenous-owned winery, which is also surrounded by vineyards.
