Nisbett's Clothiers, founded in 1967 by John Nisbett in Port Hope Ontario, has been a leader in men's clothing for over 50 years. After passing on to Greg Nisbett and a partner in 1981, the company continued to grow and expand. In 1985, Nisbett's Clothiers acquired Henry Houser Mens Shop, a business that had been operating for over 80 years. Although the Port Hope store closed in the 1990s, Nisbett's Clothiers in Lindsay remained strong and is now the leading destination for men's clothing in the area.
