Mo's Houseboat B&B offers an exceptional off-grid living experience with amazing aurora viewing right from your deck. There is no city light pollution, eliminating the need to book aurora tours. The B&B consists of a stand-alone 'Yellow Suite' and a 'Green Suite' which will be available soon. Additionally, a single room is available in the owner-occupied main houseboat. Prices range from $125 to $165 for single or double occupancy, with additional charges for extra guests. A 2-night minimum stay is required. During open-water seasons, Mo will pick you up at the government dock and provide a canoe for transportation to and from the B&B. In ice season, guests can take a taxi to the B&B or park their rental on the ice. The B&B is closed during the freezing and breaking up of the lake, which typically occurs between late October and late May. Onsite staff is available 24/7, and amenities include free high-speed internet, towels, toiletries, and daily housekeeping. The B&B utilizes maintenance-free heating systems. To secure a reservation, the first night must be paid through PayPal, Visa, or Mastercard. Settlement of accounts is required upon check-in, and all prices include tax. Check-in time is 2pm, and check-out time is 11am. The cancellation policy offers a 100% refund if cancelled more than 2 months prior to the booking date, a $100 cancellation fee if cancelled between 4 to 8 weeks of the booking date, and no refund if cancelled within 4 weeks of the booking date.
