Moorelands Kids is a children's charity in Toronto that works with children affected by poverty. Originally founded to address the needs of factory workers and their families in the downtown core, the organization now focuses exclusively on children and youth living in poverty. They provide positive and fun experiences to help strengthen their confidence, competence, and character. Their programs include Moorelands Camp in the summer and year-round support through city programs and family programs. Moorelands Kids believes that every child has the right to succeed and empowers them to overcome barriers through skill-building and leadership programs. Since 1912, they have helped over 132,000 kids through their programs.
