Mika

Mika is a unique artist who combines floral elements and pottery in her work. She creates one-of-a-kind pottery vessels using hand building and wheel throwing techniques, and incorporates orchids, succulents, and air plants to bring life into living spaces. With a background in the ancient art of Ikebana, Mika's design aesthetic is influenced by Japanese traditions. She has traveled and learned new styles and techniques in Europe, South East Asia, and North America, and has recently been creatively excited by her use of natural materials such as shells, seeds, and corals. Mika's designs have been available at various flower shops and through her home-based business. In addition to her artwork, Mika also offers workshops on creating and caring for Kokedama and Terrarium.
