Metronome Canada aims to transform the Canada Malting site on Toronto's waterfront into 'The World's First Music City'. This one-of-a-kind facility will feature the M3-Metronome Music Museum, an 800-seat concert theatre, offices for the music industry, The Music Education Centre, music-related retail, The Canada Malting Museum, restaurants, a music-themed children's playground, and The Riverboat, a floating exhibit celebrating Yorkville Avenue in the 1960s. The project seeks to integrate, educate, celebrate, and promote all aspects of the Canadian music industry. Metronome is supported by over 6,000 companies and individuals, with significant contributions from media patrons, construction companies, sponsors, and Panasonic as the Lead Sponsor. The initiative aims to be a lasting legacy to Canada's Millennium and an international symbol of the country's cultural self-determination.
