MapleTree Guitars

MapleTree Guitars (MTG) is a manufacturer of high-quality acoustic guitars made with solid Canadian maple back and sides, and Sitka spruce soundboards from Germany. These guitars are designed to appeal to both flat-pickers and finger-style players, with an inviting playing area. The instruments feature Wilkinson tuners with ebony buttons, an ebony bridge, bone nut, rosette sound hole, and maple/ebony/MOP binding. They are also adorned with mother of pearl inlay for the logo and fret-markers. In addition to acoustic guitars, MTG also produces a wide range of solid wood jazz and gypsy guitars. These instruments are meticulously handcrafted with unique hollow-body designs, delivering tonality that rivals much more expensive guitars. All MTG instruments are made by a family of luthiers with over 100 years of combined experience in guitar craftsmanship. Based in Beijing, this artisan family has a long-standing reputation for hand-made excellence. Each guitar is hand-carved with meticulous detail using top-grade woods imported from Canada and Germany. The combination of exceptional craftsmanship and high-quality materials results in instruments with exceptional sound quality, including crisp, clear mids, and a deep, powerful lower range.
