Makom: Creative Downtown Judaism

Makom: Creative Downtown Judaism is a grassroots Toronto community that has been blending Jewish tradition with progressive values since 2009. They offer a variety of programs and activities, including Friday night services, meditation, adult education classes, family activities, and arts and culture experiences. Makom also provides an innovative Hebrew-immersion and Jewish studies program for children. Most of their programs take place at their storefront location on College St. They welcome individuals of all religious affiliations, ages, sexual orientations, and gender identities to explore how Judaism can enhance their lives.
