Maizal

Maizal is a Mexican restaurant in Mexico City that specializes in serving authentic and traditional Central Mexican cuisine. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced ingredients, particularly ground corn-maize, to make our tortillas by hand. Our fillings are made from scratch and we cultivate OP maize to ensure the highest quality. In addition to quesadillas, we offer a variety of other dishes such as Guacamole, Salads, Tacos Dorados, Sopes, Tostadas, and a range of Tacos. We also make our own Aguas Frescas and Salsas to accompany every meal. Operating from the back of Baby Huey Bar, our Tortilleria sells fresh ground masa, tortillas, salsas, and totopos (chips). Our cozy cafe provides a homey vibe and aims to showcase Mexico's agricultural and gastronomic traditions.
