The Learning Disabilities Association of Windsor-Essex (LDAWE) is a registered charitable organization in Canada. It is a chapter of the provincial and national Associations for learning disabilities. LDAWE was established in 1993 by a group of concerned parents and professionals in the Windsor – Essex County area. Their goal was to improve the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities. Today, LDAWE offers various programs and services to help children, youth, and adults with learning disabilities or attention deficit disorder to achieve their full potential. LDAWE provides information sharing, support, and relevant programs to individuals with learning disabilities and those who support them.
