La Passerelle-I.D.É. is an organization that believes a strong Canada is built on diversity, inclusion, and civic engagement. Our mission is to facilitate the full participation of francophone newcomers and immigrants in communities across Canada. We achieve this by providing essential skills and knowledge necessary for full integration into Canadian society, serving as a gateway for francophone talents from both within and outside Canada to thrive in the country. We work closely with visionary employers who are committed to attracting and retaining qualified immigrants and francophone newcomers, contributing to the building of a strong, integrated, and diverse Canada. Through key partnerships with community organizations and employers, we create opportunities for continuous positive interaction and communication for francophone immigrants, ensuring their full contribution and success in Canada. La Passerelle-I.D.É. was founded in the 1990s by Madame Léonie Tchatat with a vision to promote francophone talents and facilitate their personal and professional development. Starting with a modest budget of $5,000, the organization has grown over the past 20 years and is now recognized as a leader in its ability to deliver, its strategic partnerships with various sectors and partners, and its advocacy on immigration-related issues.
