Business Description

Knotty's Woodwork is a family-owned woodworking shop located in Toronto, Ontario. We specialize in crafting custom butcher blocks, wood countertops, and handcrafted furniture using both reclaimed and new materials sourced locally. Our process involves carefully selecting premium lumber, crafting and dry fitting it, final assembly, and applying the desired finish. Our expertise lies in butcher block countertops, where we offer a wide range of options. We can customize the length, width, and thickness of the butcher blocks, and we have a selection of 30 different types of wood to choose from, including 26 hardwoods and 4 softwoods. Our wood is kiln dried to prevent warping or splitting, and we use premium food-safe and water-resistant glue. Our standard finish is 100% food-grade butcher block oil. We offer edge grain, end grain, and face grain butcher blocks, and we are open to mixing and matching woods to create a unique look. Our butcher blocks range from 3/4" to 6" thick, with single pieces as long as 14 feet (168"). For more information, please visit our website at www.knottys.ca. In addition to butcher blocks, we also specialize in tables and cutting boards, with a wide selection of wood species available for customization to meet your specific needs.
