Ivan's Restaurant

Ivan's Restaurant, formerly known as Ted's Snack Bar, was established in 1945 by Mr. Ted Dashnay as a drive-in addition to his market and butcher shop. The restaurant gained popularity for its secret recipes, including the famous "Pronto Pup," homemade gravy, and delicious fries, burgers, and shakes. Ownership was later transferred to Ivan Cloutier in 1975, and then to Claude Ledoux in 1985. In 2007, Kristina, Claude's daughter, took over the restaurant and has continued to uphold the authentic recipes and traditions. Ivan's prides itself on using only the highest quality ingredients and has expanded the menu to include healthier options. The restaurant combines fresh and forward-thinking ideas with its rich history. Ivan's is a beloved North Bay tradition and offers dine-in, take-out, and delivery options, along with daily specials.
