INRS - Centre Urbanisation Culture Société

The INRS - Centre Urbanisation Culture Société, led by Professor Hélène Belleau, brings together thirty-seven professors from various social science disciplines. The center offers graduate programs and hosts postdoctoral researchers. It serves as a hub for numerous groups and networks developed by researchers with colleagues from other institutions and various national and international environments, particularly in developing countries. The center offers graduate programs in population studies, urban studies, and knowledge mobilization. Through their research activities, the professors and students of the center shed new light on the challenges faced by societies, such as increasing social and cultural diversity, changing family realities, immigration, and increased globalization.
