Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation

The Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation aims to teach students a new way of thinking that goes beyond traditional business planning and launching a new business. We focus on developing skills in creative thinking, problem-solving, and recognizing opportunities that can be applied in any field. Our goal is to shape a new generation of entrepreneurs who can embrace challenges and contribute to Calgary's entrepreneurial spirit. The centre was established in 2013 with generous support from donors and is overseen by the dean of the Haskayne School of Business. We work closely with an advisory council to ensure our programs meet the needs of the community and future entrepreneurs at the University of Calgary. Our ultimate objective is to integrate entrepreneurial thinking into the university's culture.
