Help Lesotho

Help Lesotho is a non-governmental organization based in Ottawa, Canada, that was founded in 2004 by Dr. Peg Herbert. The organization's main focus is to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS in Lesotho, a country located in southern Africa. Help Lesotho operates two community leadership centers and village-based programs that provide education and life skills training to children, youth, and their supporters. Their approach aims to empower individuals to heal, learn, and have a purpose in order to become leaders who take action for the benefit of others. Help Lesotho develops and delivers holistic programs that help people heal, learn new skills, and ultimately take action for the benefit of others. Their programs advocate for social justice, promote HIV prevention, and encourage healthy decision-making and social responsibility. Help Lesotho is supported by many Canadians and Basotho and is dedicated to supporting the next generation of leaders in Lesotho. The organization's Canadian office space is donated by RE/MAX Hallmark Realty in Ottawa, ON.
