The Housing Access and Support Services (HASS) program, funded by the Province, consists of 15 workers who engage with the homeless and those who lack adequate housing in the City. These workers have established connections with affordable housing sites and landlords, actively seeking out new landlords who are willing to house individuals with low incomes. They also collaborate with landlords to ensure the continued success of each tenant's housing situation. Additionally, eight workers travel across Toronto to establish relationships with individuals in shelters and community centers, assess their needs, and assist them in finding suitable and affordable housing options.
