Fish Tale Cabins & Campground is situated on the historic French River in Northern Ontario. This river, known as Wemitigoj-Sibi to the Ojibway Indians and la Riviere des Francais to the early French explorers, served as a crucial water highway to the west in Canada from the 1600s to the mid-1800s. It was a vital link for explorers, missionaries, and fur-traders, connecting them to the interior and northwest regions of Canada. The French River was part of the voyageur's highway, stretching 3,000 miles towards the Pacific and western Arctic.
Fish Tale Cabins & Campground offers fully equipped cottages and RV sites, providing a comfortable and rustic experience for visitors. Located near some of the best fishing spots in Ontario, guests can enjoy superior fishing for a variety of species including Walleye, Trophy Muskie, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, as well as Perch, Sunfish, and Rock Bass for the kids.
