Empowered Kids Ontario, formerly known as the Ontario Association of Children’s Rehabilitation Services, is an organization that represents publicly-funded child development and rehabilitation centers in Ontario. Our main goal is to advocate for evidence-based investments, policies, and programs that enable innovative approaches and service delivery for children with special needs and their families. With over 40 years of dedication, we strive to create an integrated and family-centered child development ecosystem. Our member organizations provide treatment and support to children, youth, and families across Ontario. Empowered Kids Ontario is governed by a volunteer-based Board of Directors consisting of 14 members. We host an annual conference that brings together leaders in child development and rehabilitation and honors outstanding partners, advocates, and trailblazers with our Tribute Awards. As the voice of Ontario’s publicly-funded child development and rehabilitation sector, we aim to help children with disabilities and their families live their best lives.
